Beginnings

This is our second year of turning over the soil for our garden, you can see from the field beyond that it was hard work, but so very gratifying. I cannot wait to get my hands in the soil each day and it brings me such peace to sit in the garden and work with the kids playing and working around me.

It is a sacred, peaceful place for us all. The warmth and abundance of seedlings indoors is making me feel like this could be a bountiful year - a gardener's hopeless optimism!
