Pumpkin Farm

It was a little quieter this year without our friends the Williams family but also didn't seem right to bring anyone else... Maybe next year. AnaSofia and I got an ice cream, picked out a pumpkin and talked to the goats while Kasper slept through his first trip to the pumpkin farm.

It's always blissful when my parents come, hard to see them go and such a good time while they are here... Here are a few photos of the adventures we had with them... Such good times.

Apple Picking

We went with friends this week to get some yummy organic apples at our favorite farm. We gathered a ton of apples in a small amount of time with lots of little hands able to help. Kasper loved the taste of apples, riding in the wagon and observing us all. AnaSofia had fun chasing friends, picking her very own bushel of apples and the ice cream that followed all the hard work. We put most in winter storage by wrapping them individually in paper and are hopeful that we will have fresh apples for a long, long while.

Finally got to catch up with one of my closest friends while she was visiting her parents with HER new little baby girl, Logan. It was SO wonderful to catch up with her, gaze at all the beautiful kiddos and just BE.
I worked on a reversible little coat for Logan. I think it will fit her for a long time as AnaSofia modeled it for me the day before.
