I feel the time slipping by so quickly. The burst of persimmon and gold, the quickly falling leaves, the darker evenings all remind me that it is ending - not just the season, but our time here.
H E R E.
In our little home. My little slice of heaven that I so carefully created. Most of the love comes from the nature around, I open the door and breathe it all in.
I remember the same feeling as a child, always looking up, the height of the trees and the changing sky never cease to amaze me. I am in awe and so thankful to enjoy each little piece of it.
So we are doing all we can to fill our cups full of nature and this month that means biking or walking to the lake and walking the land trust trail kindly provided by our friends and neighbors.
"Hike! Hike!" Kasper yells each morning and afternoon, and I can rarely turn down that sweet shout. He knows his Momma too well. He is a hiker, his feet are as big as AnaSofia's were just a few months ago (or so it seems) and he can W A L K. A mile and more.
And each time we take this same trail, it feels so different and new thanks to the wonder and awe of my two little loves...

Oh, and the music? Well, sometimes it is the wind, but today it was a yellow recorder and a blues harmonica played continuously for a mile coupled with my constant laughter.. And it was lovely. Oh, I will miss it...
