Tea Time!

We have had some quiet days inside enjoying our little home, playing and resting. At Christmas, my sister and I spent some time in the sap house (where my parents make maple syrup) going through boxes from our childhood. I found some teacups I remembered my Mom kept on a very high shelf before we moved and built the log cabin that I would stare at for long periods of time, imagining which one I liked best and who had used them before (they are from her family). I was so happy my Mom let me bring them home to use in our house for AnaSofia's many tea parties. I hope she will have fun playing make believe with them too!

I also made the kids a "green eggs and ham" set at Christmas and a few silly utensils.

The kids get really into preparing for a party and help Momma make cookies.

AnaSofia had a special friend over the other day that we haven't seen since summer and they all had fun playing tea party. Of course, now that Kasper is interested we have gone back to using the fisher price tea set (thank you Aunt Heather!) because he doesn't have a delicate bone in his body!

But he certainly loves tea parties!
