AnaSofia's very wonderful grandparents (FarFar and FarMor) sent MANY packages before December 1st this year (AND last year) to be her advent gifts. Soren's Mom made an advent calendar for each of her children when they were young and gave Soren his to pass on to his own children. We are all so excited to set it up each year and count down each day with such lovely surprises. Last year AnaSofia received many handknit clothes, Danish toys and books. This year her FarFar and FarMor have been working for MONTHS on a special gift for her. I know it is a barn with a hen house and that each day she will get an animal or part of the barn. It is all handmade by them (the animals are made in Germany) and is a model of a barn FarFar had as a child. I am soooo excited to watch it all unfold this month. December 1st she received two bunnies (of course!) and named them and slept with them last night. Today she opened the rabbit house and has been playing with it nonstop. Her joy playing with this is unbelievable. I can't imagine what the next days will bring!

We have had great weather this week and have been playing outside a lot but it is beginning to look like snow!

AnaSofia is so lucky to have such lovely FarFar and FarMor! How exciting that they created the gifts! She looks so happy to open the presents and see what is inside!
