Early Warmth

We boiled sap and enjoyed the warmth today. It turned out the sap was mostly water and we had a measly harvest of maple syrup this year, but pancakes were still necessary. The amount was not quite as important as the family time - all of us TOGETHER for a day at home. I love those days... Bliss...
