Our life together is so precious together...

We are one... This little family of ours, we are one. It has been a year of transition for us, a lot of planning and preparing that will lead to a few more years of change. We are putting our hearts into a beautiful farmhouse built in the 1880s and one that has been uninhabited for 70 years. It has been a big project, one that is much bigger than we first imagined. It is a temporary home for us, a place to rest for a few years while we build bigger plans, but oh, I have so many plans for this transition place! It is light, land and quiet, just what is needed for right now... Soren has been spending each and every day and night there working to make it a home for us. We both are perfectionists, of the "do it 100% or go home" school and that is sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse! But with a lot of help from his Dad and continued help from wonderful family and friends we are almost seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, almost. It will be an authentic life, a good change, I can just feel it.

Such a pretty house and setting! Lots of hard work but it will be a fun place to live and get to know the area! Can't wait to visit there again.
love,

I can't wait to see it either. An architect's daughter, you know I love seeing a great historical house, and there are some amazing ones in that area of Maine. What a great experience.
