Perfect Winter Weekend

SUCH great weather this weekend, makes you think Spring is HERE. But we know better! It didn't stop us from doing a big snowshoe around the wetland for one of the last times and enjoying all the trees we don't get to see when the water is high. It is really beautiful and wild out behind the house.

When it cools down we have the PERFECT little spot out back to ice skate. It is a lot of fun to scoot around out there. AnaSofia really loves it.

To make our weekend really fantastic and perfect, our friends Elizabeth and John came over on Sunday to see little Kasper and AnaSofia. Of course, Elizabeth held Kasper for about an hour and I managed to NOT get a photo but at least we have some cute ones of AnaSofia saying goodbye. We are so thankful for their friendship and to have them living close by. Can't wait for the warm weather when we can go hang out on the airstrip!

You guys are the best parents. Even though I am sure you are just so exhausted, you are still out there enjoying the world. I got a bunch of pictures of the snow this winter in Winter Harbor, it looks amazing. So much of it. I love that AnaSofia never stops smiling. I am sure Kasper is the same way.
I am off to get some R & R myself, just got back home after my exhausting 21 days in Port Lincoln with the tuna. Going back again in two weeks, so have to rest up.
