According to my Creative Family book, her kids LOVED their birthday crowns and cherish wearing them every year. We'll see if AnaSofia is the same, I haven't made her one yet - she was very sad to see the first one shipped off to someone else so I appeased her by having a birthday party for her teddy bear AND making her a superhero cape.
She has been entertaining Soren and I each night with a song in her tutu with her bath towel over her shoulders - it is HILARIOUS, BUT she stops every time we bring out the video camera. So I made her a cape to do it in style... Hope to post video of it SOMEDAY...
We are missing all our friends and family this week, why are you all so far away? We sent a package to Hawaii this week and Africa for our friends in the PeaceCorp there for two years. I am aching to make a trip to DC to see Heather and now really want to go to CA to see Sarah. Wish it wasn't so expensive for us right now! Thinking of everyone and missing you all! It must be the hormones, sniff, sniff!

Great minds think alike - I have been wanting to start making capes for my nephews! --And I LOVE the crown too!! Was the cape easy to make? It is so awesome!! I was thinking of making all the kids who come to our wedding capes! We'll see! Great job. I would love to see you too! I love reading your blog. Thanks for keeping it up!
