Good Eats!

We are finally harvesting from our little garden! So exciting! AnaSofia and I picked a few tomatoes, a pepper and a bunch of peas that she proceeded to eat with gusto. I managed to put a few things towards dinner but I guess the true lesson I wanted her to learn was that fresh veggies come from the ground and are good to eat... Lesson learned!
Here it is this Spring once I finished building and planting my seedlings.

Eating the peas.

Contemplating grabbing the pepper next...

Grill pizza with the rest on a homemade wheat dough, so yummy...

I love Maine this time of year, mostly for the gardening. Isn't it just so rewarding to grow your own veggies! My parents had a garden with me while I was growing up and its something that you never forget. AnaSofia is turning into such a beautiful little girl, no longer a toddler.

oh my goodness, that pizza looks awesome....I think going to the garden and picking your own veggies is one of my all time favorite activities! AnaSofia is very lucky to have a mommy who grows veggies!
