Happy Birthday to a VERY special person in my life - my girl Trish! I decided to paint her something special to pay tribute to a special friendship and to celebrate a shared love of Oasis! AnaSofia and I traveled to Massachusetts to celebrate with her. AnaSofia was very excited on the 5 hour trip, singing "Happy Birthday to you!" followed by "CAKE! CAKE!" She already knows what Happy Birthday means! Isn't cake what it is all about?! We had a really lovely time seeing Trish's home and spending a few days catching up on each other's lives. Trish really loved her present which made me smile.
This being the month of baby showers and baby announcements, I have also been painting some folk art style animals (idea from a VERY expensive Pottery Barn painting). I painted some for my friend Laura, Trish, Trish's sister and my own sister. I hope they make the kids happy someday! AnaSofia contributed to each painting too! It was a fun project.
