While it was difficult to really celebrate with Independence Day falling in the middle of the week, Soren managed to come home for a few hours and have a good time with his girls. He brought home his boat for the first time so we all took it for a spin out on the lake. Lots of fun! There are lots of little islands to explore, we found a few with firepits and nice beaches so I can't wait to head out again. AnaSofia was not too impressed at first as her life vest was as large as she was but once she realized we were out in the water she was more excited. She is SUCH a daredevil in all things so she instantly was holding her hand over the side to catch the spray. I can picture her waterskiing at age four... This kid is going to be hard to keep up with!
