Cape Cod...

Or Cape Omigod, what a weekend... I have DREAMED of hitting the Cape for years to go to the Nantucket Wine Festival and get together with anyone willing to come and share a house with us. So I found a fantastic rental, booked it for the Wine Festival long weekend and coerced friends into coming with us. Anthony and Jess (LOVE YOU TWO!!!) were willing to come and we had a BLAST despite the CONSTANT rain, 8 foot seas, bad clam that counted me out for a few days (and I am still suffering), roads that run North claiming to be South that kept us trapped in the car for many hours and... Well, I could go on but the fact is we had SUCH a good time with Anthony and Jess and then Adrian and Jeanne came up and we learned that beers, Danish Schnapps and whiskey take care of everything. AnaSofia had a blast being the little one hanging out with everyone. I think both couples were carefully observing us to see how it was to have kids, hee hee! AND at the end EVERYONE said what a fantastic little kid she is and that she makes them rethink kids being a scary thing. Yeah! That's my girl! She actually cried when Anthony and Jess left, it was so tragic! I was ready to pack my bags and move to Pittsburgh for her! I am working on an album of the trip for everyone to see - it really was a great place to explore. We are SO THERE next year!!!!!!

Hi Jenn, I just realized that you had a blog! It sounds like you are in the middle of an incredibly important time in your life! So many things going on! Congratulations, by the way, on becoming a doctor, and at the same time (gulp) turning 30! --And doing these things as a new mommy! You definitely have amazing things coming to you! All the best.... Hope

Oh, by the way, I celebrated your birthday by going to an Arcade Fire concert. You would have loved it. We did have a beer for you, though. Happy Birthday (a little late)!
