Sittin' On The Dock

More signs of Spring are coming to Maine. AnaSofia and I sighted pussy willows out on the bog today. The snow is S L O W LY receding from the yard too, our house is the last house on the lake still white with snow! It is like watching a very slow tide move from the shore and revealing Spring in its wake. Bulbs are poking through, small leaves from plants and even my poppies from last November. I planted a bunch of saved seeds in hopes they would come up this Spring but due to the warm winter they were coming up last November and December. They are still green now so maybe there is hope? AnaSofia is loving exploring all the buds and birds outside. She took advantage of the warm sun today to sit on the front deck with me and play with some toys while watching life drive by. So fantastic!
